Summary:
We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team, learn about the Hood systems/business and implement systems architecture to help solve some of our complex problems.
Solution Architect responsibilities include understanding and documenting flow of data and information between our various systems.
This will also include working with the IT and functional teams to test and integrate program software systems to address and solve specific business problems within the organization.
This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, business analysts, end users and other stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
Systems related to Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing and corporate back-office functions like Finance and AP/AR will be the focus with branch outs to other functions like HR as needed.
The primary focus will be on leveraging SAP and other core systems, where possible, to create scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Hood's Process Improvement team and functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Design end-to-end solutions that encompass application architecture, data integration, security, scalability, and performance Conduct feasibility studies and assess the technical and financial viability of proposed solutions Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, documentation, and technical specifications Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements from Microsoft and SAP, and evaluate their potential impact on our solution offerings Collaborate with project managers, business analysts and functional stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements Conduct technology assessments and make recommendations for optimizing existing systems and processes Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (master's degree is a plus) Proven experience (5
years) as a Solution Architect, preferably in a client-facing role Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience with Lean-Agile methodologies Prior experience using architecture tools like LeanIX is preferred Experience with SAP architecture and integration, including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and SAP HANA is preferred Architecture Certification such as TOGAF is preferred HP Hood is an Equal Opportunity Employer Female/Minority/Veteran/DisabledVERVRAA Federal ContractorEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
